Description: The Director & Investment Counsellor (Counsellor) forms part of the investment team at Yorkville Asset Management (Yorkville). The role involves business development, relationship management, and portfolio management for clients in the Toronto & GTA area. The Counsellor customizes portfolios to meet each client's objectives and discretionarily manages assets using Yorkville's approved investments and portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify business development opportunities to offer Yorkville's services to families, business owners, and professionals.
  • Utilize investment and tax expertise to address specific client needs, such as creating tax-efficient portfolios for family trusts and estates.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Influence (COIs) for referrals and provide advice to affluent clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients through regular meetings, educational sessions, reporting, tax advice, and investment reviews.
  • Work with various Yorkville departments to provide top solutions while representing the company professionally.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree and CFA designation required. CPA and Canadian tax knowledge are assets.
  • Must have access to a car for travel within Ontario.
