Based on a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, NetSuite for Government caters to the specific requirements of small-to-midsize state and local government agencies. It offers a unified system for efficient accounting, grants management, payroll, planning and budgeting, human resource management, and more.

The NetSuite for Government squad seeks a dynamic Oracle Utilities consultant to deliver top-notch implementations and customer experiences to our initial Utility Billing clients. This individual will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Products and the Utility Billing Product Manager to establish a leading implementation encounter for small local government agencies embracing Oracle's Energy and Water Customer Solutions. This role involves being innovative in a rapidly evolving business unit. We are seeking someone with extensive product knowledge in Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS) or Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M), who is open to challenging the conventional approach and thinking creatively about tailoring both the product and service delivery for a simpler audience.

What you will be responsible for:

Contribute to defining the product offering in partnership with product management and engineering Engage in conversations to discover critical user needs within the NetSuite for Government user community Customize and configure CCS to provide an intuitive user experience while meeting essential customer requirements Conduct product demonstrations of pre-configured CCS instances to gather customer input Work with product and engineering teams to implement customer suggestions and integrate changes into the long-term product roadmap Act as the internal product authority on the development team to provide guidance on Oracle Utilities product structure Devise tools for rapid implementation of common utility customer archetypes for local governments, including water, wastewater, sanitation, gas, and electric utility billing Support go-to-market teams with demonstrations Establish and maintain a model CCS demo environment and lead demos with potential customers Act as the product specialist within the sales unit to address inquiries from potential customers and offer expertise on industry best practices Oversee service delivery for multiple implementation projects Manage software implementation for the initial group of local government Utility Billing clients Customize and personalize CCS environments for customers according to local government requirements Develop standardized reports for municipal utilities, such as AR aging reports, credit and collections, etc. Coordinate with consultants on transitioning from existing utility billing solutions operated by customers to CCS Collaborate with engineering on creating integrations between CCS and innovative 1P and 3P software solutions for paperless billing, payments, bill printing, etc. Formulate the data conversion approach for local government utility customers, overseeing the migration of premise, meter, customer, and transactional data for new Utility Billing clients Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for new Utility Billing clients Create test scenarios across reporting, integrations, conversion, and enhancements to ensure flawless delivery to new Utility Billing clients Redefine the service delivery methodology for Oracle Utilities Revamp the Oracle Utilities implementation playbook for a more straightforward customer segment Develop repeatable consulting methodologies, tools, and playbooks that prioritize efficiency over customization while ensuring a superior customer experience for local government utilities clients Produce consulting materials such as client presentations, project plans, data migration templates, and training resources that enable teams to execute Utility Billing implementation projects rapidly Guide and educate junior team members on the Oracle Utilities platform Train new consultants on the Oracle Utilities product framework and underlying data model

Qualifications:

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, software engineering, management information systems, or mathematics Demonstrated experience of 5+ years designing and developing on the Oracle Utilities Application Framework using Java, Groovy, and/or application scripting Proficiency with Oracle Utilities products (CC&B, C2M, CCS, WACS, WAM, MDM, and underlying data models Proven track record of implementing Oracle Utilities products for a minimum of 8 years across various customer sizes; Experience with small and medium municipal clients is advantageous Certification in CCS/C2M is a plus Demonstrated capability to lead multiple consulting projects and collaborate effectively with customers, product management, sales, and engineering teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills including leading presentations for senior client stakeholders
