My client has been in business for over 20 years and is a leading Canadian insurance company that provides liability insurance to private practice lawyers. They provide their clients with title insurance and legal service coverage for residential home purchases. They are looking for a driven and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team.
About the role:
- You will be responsible for developing net new business
- You will be selling the insurance coverage directly to private practice lawyers
- Hybrid role - expected to visit clients in person and go into the office one day per week
- You will be expected to meet and exceed all sales targets
About you:
- College/University degree
- Knowledge of residential conveyancing, the procedures and workflow of a real estate law practice and title
- insurance
- Knowledge of Mortgage Lending, Banking an asset
- Minimum seven to ten years of experience in: business development role, mortgage lending, title insurance or real estate legal industry, with a proven history of exceeding sales targets for 5+ years
- Ability to develop and optimize a sales pipeline
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and develop relationships
- A valid Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are required
