A bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a university of recognized standing. Registered as an Engineer-In-Training or eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. At least 3 - 5 years of related work experience in the field of design and analysis of complex mechanical systems or equipment (knowledge of CANDU nuclear systems would be an asset). Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work under the supervision a senior analyst/engineer/lead and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in the interpretation of GD&T is preferred. Experience in classical stress calculation. Experience in finite element analysis using ANSYS/LS-DYNA/ABAQUS. Familiarity with ASME Section III pressure boundary design and CSA N285.0. Drive for continuous learning by own initiative.
