Job Summary


We are seeking a talented HR Systems Analyst (Workday) to join our team and support our HR Systems initiatives and support the management of our HCM (Human Capital Management System).

Acting as a facilitator, solution designer, and trusted advisor, HR Systems Analyst provides expertise in analyzing business requirements and recommending technical solutions and plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic direction and functionality of our Human Capital Management System.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of handson Workday configuration experience across one or more domains (i.e. HCM Core, Compensation, Payroll/Absence, Benefits and Talent)
  • Comprehensive grasp of HR practices, regulations, processes, and data management.
  • Demonstrated system report configuration experience, with a proficiency in Workday considered an asset.
  • Proficient in handling data and clever with Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a knack for problemsolving.
  • Effective communication abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders across organizational hierarchies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience in data maintenance and uploading processes
  • Knowledge of government directives and policies is advantageous.
  • Willingly dive into various HR team functions, offering support across all areas.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain singlesource reports to meet business needs.
  • Conduct system configuration testing and enduser testing to ensure system integrity and functionality.
  • Oversee the administration of base pay salary scale adjustments and meticulously configure benefit and unionmandated changes for accuracy.
  • Triage issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
  • Collect business requirements and review processes to ensure HRIS compliance with negotiated agreements.
  • Perform data maintenance and uploads, including setting up tables and configuring collective agreement changes.
  • Conduct audit configurations and root cause analysis to identify and address system discrepancies.
  • Provide systembased support for government directives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Design training materials and facilitate HR systems training sessions.
  • Offer expert guidance and consultation on Workday reporting to HR stakeholders and partners.
