You will have the opportunity to optimize accounting and consolidation processes and systems for the control and timely delivery of Nuvei's consolidated financial statements, notes and related financial information. Bring your curiosity, consolidation and accounting expertise as well as your process improvement experience in this opportunity to support Nuvei's requirements as a recently listed company as well as its international expansion through acquisition and organic growth. You'll need to possess a solid background in consolidation of multiple entities and currencies, accounting operations and systems combined with a meticulous, structured and 'can-do' approach to join our growing global organization as the Senior financial analyst, corporate accounting and consolidation.
Prepare, consolidate and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures prepared under IFRS for senior management and external stakeholders;
Reconcile account balances, maintain general ledger and prepare close procedures;
Prepare, validate and review monthly accounting entries and financial reports supporting the monthly financial close and deliver accurate, insightful and timely analysis of financial results;
Support the integration of acquired companies by aligning the account structure with those of the organization, preparing new consolidation journal entries and enhancing workflows;
Support the implementation of new and/or revised accounting or reporting requirements;
Support quarterly reviews and year-end external audit;
Identify and lead continuous improvements projects around the financial close process;
Interact with the different business units and corporate departments;
Support the Director, Financial Reporting in accounting and reporting.
CPA with 3-5 years of experience with public companies and/or audit firms;
Strong accounting and consolidation knowledge in a multi-currency, multi-site environment;
Solid understanding of consolidation workflows, tools and controls with, ideally, a system implementation or major upgrade project experience;
Experience with general leger functions, account reconciliations, and period end close process;
Knowledge of OneStream is an asset for this position;
Bilingual (English & French).
Working Language
English (written and spoken) is the language used 99% of the time, as work colleagues and clientele are both geographically dispersed within and outside of Quebec;
Internal communications between colleagues occur in English or in French, depending on the parties involved. A basic knowledge of French is required for any position located within Quebec. English is required for this position, as it could report to someone outside of Quebec, and requires frequent out of province communications.

Préparer, valider et examiner les écritures comptables mensuelles et les rapports financiers à l'appui de la clôture financière mensuelle et fournir une analyse précise, perspicace et opportune des résultats financiers ;
Soutenir la mise en œuvre d'exigences nouvelles et/ou révisées en matière de comptabilité ou de reporting ;
Soutenir les examens trimestriels et l'audit externe de fin d'année ;
Identifier et diriger des projets d'amélioration continue autour du processus de clôture financière ;
Soutenir le directeur de l'information financière en matière de comptabilité et d'établissement de rapports.
CPA avec 3-5 ans d'expérience avec des sociétés publiques et/ou des cabinets d'audit ;
Solides connaissances en matière de comptabilité et de consolidation dans un environnement multidevises et multi-sites ;
Solide compréhension des flux de travail, des outils et des contrôles de consolidation avec, idéalement, une expérience de la mise en œuvre d'un système ou d'un projet de mise à niveau majeur ;
Être bilingue (anglais et français).
L'anglais (écrit et parlé) est la langue utilisée 99 % du temps, car les collègues de travail et la clientèle sont géographiquement dispersés à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du Québec ;
Les communications internes entre collègues se font en anglais ou en français, selon les parties concernées. Les fournisseurs stratégiques sont situés à l'extérieur du Québec ;
