The Specialized Services Onsite Leader will lead a team of highly trained individuals who handle the company's most dynamic projects. The leader will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing major projects, training technicians, and fostering professional business relationships while consistently looking for ways to expand services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates service on site and oversees work performed for safety and quality excellence
  • Coaches, mentors and trains technicians and other personnel from various divisions
  • Sets up, executes and closes major projects within Specialized Services while working to exceed customer expectations, inclusive of tank cleanings, confined space entries, decontamination, specialty waste packaging, chemical handling, transferring, and neutralization.
  • Assists with incident investigations
  • Engages in site visits with clients and collects appropriate information to ensure project success
  • Leads major industrial plant shutdowns including planning work, leading operations, and compiling required documentation for project closures

Requirements:

  • Meticulous, organized and highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and the ability to operate industrial equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Physically fit and a ble to work long hours from time to time
  • Able to work out of town from time to time, and occasionally out of province
  • Vacuum Truck and/or Power Washing Experience
  • Knowledge of WHMIS controlled product and TDG
