Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House is currently looking for competent and enthusiastic individuals interested in a position as a Program Assistant and Bus Driver in our After School Care Program located in the Mount

Pleasant Area as well as on call shifts for other programs within the Neighbourhood house.

Responsibilities
D Days and all day trips for our Summer Camp Program.

Qualifications

  • Must be 19 years of age
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in a child care setting licensed program is preferred.
  • Completion of 20 hour Responsible Adult Course (or willingness to attend training)
  • Valid Class 4 Driver's License
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to maintain the proper upkeep of the 22 passenger van
  • Ability to form positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Multicultural competence and an understanding of multibarrier families and children.
  • Knowledge of the Mount Pleasant Community and community services
  • Criminal Record Check is mandatory
  • Clean Drivers abstract is mandatory

Terms:
This is a part time position of 17.5 hours per week moving up to 28 hours per week during the

Summer.
