Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist uses thorough knowledge and understanding of the company's mission and strategy to align HR staffing initiatives and department objectives. This position is responsible for developing a robust talent pipeline to meet the company's staffing needs, through carrying out the full-cycle recruiting process.

About The Team

As a part of this team, you'll join a group of close-knit HR professionals who care deeply about the Safe Software team and who want to provide the best work experience for our team members.

Our Human Resources team provides the greater Safe team with support across a variety of areas, including Recruitment & Onboarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Payroll, Compensation, and Employee Relations to maintain Safe's incredible track record of being a high-performing and fun place to work.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Directly source talent from a variety of places including job boards, career fairs & social media, to identify candidate profiles who are both technical and cultural fits for the company.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and interview coordination.
  • Stay abreast of trends and developments in recruiting, adapting strategies to market changes.
  • Enhance employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and gather feedback to improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Conduct pre-employment background and reference checks.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit skilled candidates, alumni, and diverse applicants.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with universities and educational institutions & coordinate campus recruitment events and informational sessions to promote our internship program.
What We're Looking For

  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Human Resources/Business or similar.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist role, ideally in the technology industry
  • A strong ability to partner with hiring managers & build relationships
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems such as UKG
  • Experience in a high-volume recruitment role with experience in the end to end recruitment process.
