We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills to deliver cyber security services, in this two year temporary full time exempt role.

Reporting to the Manager, IT Security, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will analyze malicious activity using a variety of tools, respond to incidents, and remediate and recommend corrective action.

You will provide security awareness training and work with other technical teams to assess and remediate vulnerabilities, including the hardening of IT systems, desktops, operating systems, servers, networks, and security equipment.

You will also participate in the acquisition and evaluation of security hardware and systems, develop recommended changes to security practices and procedures, and provide guidance to other departments.


You have a post-secondary diploma in a relevant Information Technology discipline, and at least five years of relevant experience in cyber security and/or system/network administration.

Credentials related to cyber security (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker) are preferred. A valid class 5 BC Driver's License is an asset.

During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).
