The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Director of Information Technology, the Manager of Cybersecurity will oversee end-to-end operations of the Cybersecurity program.
This individual will lead the planning, execution, and assessment of processes, protocols, and service level agreements necessary for the successful implementation of a Cybersecurity initiative.
Qualifications & skills:
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in crafting/administering/managing Cyber Security/Information Security programs, encompassing familiarity with pertinent security technologies/solutions, cloud security principles, vulnerability management, security operations, and security architecture.
Demonstrated expertise in constructing business justifications, creating value-driven IT services, leveraging data for decision-making and progress tracking, establishing outsourcing versus collaborative operational models, and fostering positive relationships with internal and community partners.
Proven track record in overseeing significant and strategic projects such as MDR- Managed detection and response, Incident Response Services, and Cyber Insurance.
Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals, including risk assessment, threat and vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and identity and access management.
A capable Cybersecurity leader with adept problemsolving and analytical skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams to tackle intricate challenges. This role entails 30% hands-on work in Cybersecurity on a daily basis.
Proficiency in effectively conveying Cyber Security, IT, and risk-related concepts to various audiences in a clear, actionable manner.
Proficient in frameworks like CIS, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
