OUTLINE OF DUTIES:

• Thoroughly testing all samples from production within required timelines;
• Performing chemical analyses of products and accurately documenting all results;
• Carefully and accurately interpreting all data and test results;
• Performing root cause analyses when issues are identified and gathering information from necessary parties;
• Completing a thorough weekly environmental analysis, taking samples throughout the plant to ensure all sanitation standards are being met;
• Accurately calibrating lab equipment, closely following calibration procedures;
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to follow precise procedures, excellent hand eye coordination, selfmotivated;
• Ability to effectively communicate and work as a part of a team;
• A strong commitment to occupational health and safety standards and procedures;
• Previous lab experience is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice;
• Willingness to work flexible shifts. Anticipated shift includes days and every third weekend.
• Willingness to maintain crosstraining in other departments during temporary position.
