We are seeking a Manager, Payment Operations to join our Operations team to drive excellence in payment processing and cash management. This role is pivotal in refining and optimizing payment processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance while fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

What will you do?

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of Operational Specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Process Optimization:

  • Review, refine, and potentially reengineer payment processes to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Infrastructure Enhancement:

  • Spearhead efforts to improve reconciliation and payment settlement infrastructure, optimizing accuracy and reliability.

Documentation Management:

  • Produce and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Collaborative Innovation:

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to drive innovation and automation in payment operations, enhancing scalability and reliability.

Issue resolution:

  • Work closely with other internal teams to identify and resolve payment processing issues.

Partner Integrations:

  • Support integration efforts with new processing bank partners, playing a pivotal role in the launch process and ongoing relationship management.

Partner Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for processing bank partners, handling escalations, fraud investigations, reconciliation issues, and facilitating regular meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Funds Management:

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure effective money management & forecasting.
You will be/have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management within the financial services or payments industry, with a track record of success in team leadership and process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
