  • Work closely with the Psychiatric Nursing Program Head and other project team members.
  • Participate in program, Campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • 1. Baccalaureate Degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing, or a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing with a degree in a related field.
  • Eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan and College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
  • Minimum of three years recent and relevant clinical/teaching experience with a focus on mental health.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective instructional ability.
  • Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
  • Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
