About the Role:
As a Store Manager at Roots, you'll be responsible for creating and upholding the Roots Experience for both customers and employees. Your leadership, succession planning, and coaching abilities will be crucial in this role. You'll embody Roots' core principles and values in all your actions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve store sales targets by following company standards and exceeding customer expectations through exceptional service.
- Provide personalized sales coaching to team members based on their strengths and weaknesses to help them reach their sales goals.
- Develop action plans to enhance individual performance and productivity.
- Focus on building and retaining customer loyalty through outstanding shopping experiences and effective resolution of issues.
- Lead by example in both sales and customer service.
- Actively recruit qualified candidates to meet the store's staffing needs
- 3+ years of experience in retail, particularly in apparel.
- Demonstrated leadership skills shown through KPI results, retention rates, and coaching practices.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising and planning.
- Proven track record of sales success in a high-volume retail environment.
- Ability to manage resources effectively to maintain service levels.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problems-solving abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and workload efficiently.
- Skilled in building and leading teams, with a focus on coaching and mentorship.
