This role is key to helping Bombardier grow its Defense business unit by providing a strategic framework on key projects, identifying potential growth opportunities, and support the planning and the development of future Bombardier Defense products.


  • Support and identify trends and potential market opportunities.
  • Participate actively to the future Bombardier Defense products planning and support / lead their development when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as, but not limited to: sales, marketing, engineering, or customer support) to identify key features, attributes and benefits of Bombardier Defense products and/or services.
  • Support the Bombardier Defense product planning and the production of related executive presentations
  • Plan and lead special projects in support of Bombardier Defense growth;
  • Organize, prepare and present updates and progress reports at the various recurring governance reviews;

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent field);
  • You have a minimum of one to three (1 to 3) years of experience in aerospace, ideally within Bombardier Aerospace
  • You have basic technical knowledge of Bombardier aircraft products and overall aerospace defense market;
  • You are autonomous and take full ownership of your project;
  • You are a team player with initiative and excellent communication skills;
  • You have basic knowledge of Bombardier's policies and processes;
  • You have excellent Powerpoint skills and able to develop executive ready presentations;
  • You are able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines;
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Canada Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and previous experience in government and military flight operations exposure would be considered an asset;
  • You may be required to travel and work extended hours when required;
  • You are eligible to view and handle CGD restricted information (as required).
