Can Art is a commercial leader in the Aluminum Extrusion field, with 3 plants in Ontario, come and join a true industry leader in this exciting manufacturing field.


We need an Assistant Press Operator to start immediately at our Brampton Plant, near Steeles and Finch across the road from Wet N Wild Toronto.

Must be able to work 12 hour continental shifts, 7 shifts every 2 weeks_

Responsibilities:

  • Make sure that dies are available according to required press schedules
  • Deliver the required dies to presses as per the schedule
  • Isolate dies to be corrected
  • Ensure Die Shop is informed about priority dies
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Must be willing and comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must be willing to work with caustic
  • Basic Knowledge of tooling/dies an asset
  • Must be able to to read, write and communicate clearly in English
  • Quality driven with attention to detail is a must
  • Minimum grade 12 education of equivalent

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
From $20.47 per hour
