As a Courier at LifeLabs, you will represent the brand on the road, showcasing the vital services provided to the community while upholding our trusted reputation. All our units are equipped with a Telematics system for driving monitoring.

Note: This position offers flexible shifts.

Casual employees work on an as-needed basis, with weekly hours ranging from 0 to 37.5, Monday to Sunday. Shifts may be pre-assigned or 'on call,' coordinated with Scheduling on the day of. Casual employees must submit a yearly availability form and commit to operational needs.

Shift times range from 08:30 to 21:00, Monday to Friday, with Saturday shifts required. Casual employees provide vacation coverage and should be available for peak vacation periods.

In this role, you will:

  • Safely transport specimens in a timely manner to maintain integrity, demonstrating maturity and accountability in various driving conditions.
  • Portray the LifeLabs brand with professionalism and integrity, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
  • Utilize technology for readings, training, emails, and time management.
  • Handle all situations with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, handling physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds. Key attributes include responsibility, professionalism, and reliability. Additional requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean record
  • 3 years of driving experience with a valid license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to specified routes
  • Flexibility for sudden shift changes
