Parts Helper for our
Surrey Install (Head Office) location.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an orderly department with parts stored in their proper locations for easy access
  • Ensure that stock levels are monitored to guarantee the inventory to be justintime and consistent with the requirements of the Rail Service and Installation Departments
  • Accountable for the shipping and receiving of the orders, while maintaining a record for all purchases made
  • Assist in acting as Falcon's firstline customer relations representative for all parts needs
  • Provide administrative and maintenance duties for the branch as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior experience in a heavy equipment environment
  • Heavy equipment parts knowledge a definite asset
  • Forklift certification an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
  • Ability to weigh and measure items
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Must have a valid driver's license
