CNC Set-up Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled 3 to 5- Axis CNC Milling set-up Operator to join our team.

As a CNC set-up Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
  • Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 23 years experience operating 3 to 5
  • Axis CNC Milling machines is preferred
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
  • Familiarity with various machining tools such as milling machines
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments effectively
  • Forklift certification is desirable but not required

Pay:
From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
