We are currently looking for a Manger, Retail Marketing to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

This role will be responsible for responsible for the development of overall brand retail advertising strategy and implementation.

This includes managing process and positive ongoing relationships with Nissan Dealer Advertising Associations (DAA's) as well as the national Dealer Marketing Advisory Council (DMAC).


Job functions Include but are not limited to:

Management, development, and creative execution of all Retail and DAA media and creative to ensure both a strong contribution to Overall Nissan Brand Opinion as well as an immediate retail response from the Canadian marketplace.

This role will be an ability to lead strategic discussions with Nissan dealers and key internal stakeholders regarding the evolution of the overall retail marketing program.

Responsible for designing, executing and constantly improving a monthly process to ensure a consistently strong retail advertising presence for the Nissan brand across all of Canada.

This includes ongoing and proactive interaction with internal colleagues, dealers and external partners.

This role is accountable for ensuring that all programs are executed within budget and that, at any given time, is fully conversant as to the status of the overall budget over which it has stewardship.

This role is accountable for ensuring the proper funding and ongoing administration of the Nissan Brand Co-Op advertising program.

This role is responsible for managing the cadenced meetings, working with internal and external stakeholders to provide meeting agendas and content, managing a team, and partnering with Nissan agencies.


Minimum Qualifications:


This position requires a university degree in marketing/advertising or equivalent discipline, 7 to 10 years of experience in automotive field/retail operations and brand and product specific experience in marketing.

Experience and proven success in managing advertising and media agency partner relationships is a MUST.
Knowledge of Dealer/factory operations is critical. Strong planning and organizational skills and knowledge of the diverse Canadian market are required.

Proficiency in understanding the general market and automotive market in Canada, as well as media theory, research methodologies, data, and the branding concept are required.

Strong presentation skill and project management are necessary.
This position manages Regional Advertising Manager and Specialist.
