Warehouse Team Lead Position
Job Type / Category

  • 25 hours per week Overnight Position
  • Sorting newspapers/parcels for delivery (7 days a week operation)
  • Working with a team to unload and load trucks/trailers
  • Responsible for managing direct reports. Coaching, Performance management
  • Reading manifest and ensuring the correct product gets to the correct Courier
  • Clean up and other cleaning duties as required
  • Responsible for dock Health & Safety. Warehouse H&S Lead
  • Hours of the overnight position start at 12:00 AM 8:00 AM, 25 hours per week position will be either Wednesday to Sunday, or Thursday to Monday
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be able to perform manual labor type of work
  • Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in oftennoisy surroundings
Responsible for proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times:

  • Safety Vest
  • CSA Approved footwear (Steel toe boots/shoes)
