September 11, 202- The opportunity- Our Canada Gas Operations group is currently seeking a Pipeline Manager to to lead our Mainline Pipeline Operatio team in the Prairies region.

This position will be based out of either our Regina, SK (Emerald Park) or Swift Current, SK locations.- Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this position is primarily responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant, reliable operations and maintenance of TC Energy's Gas Pipeline Assets in the Prairies.

- What you will do- As Pipeline Manager you are responsible to:_

  • Provide leadership to continuously improve your teams' business performance in terms of safety, cost control, reliability, and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, provincial, and local regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures pertaining to operations and maintenance
  • Understand and manage facility risks, reliability, and performance
  • Understand and implement Canada Gas Operations Strategies
  • Effectively manage all resources including people, finances, materials, and time to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and implementation
  • Develop and foster an environment that actively enables and encourages employee innovation, continuous improvement, and commitment to operational excellence
  • Effectively work and interact with peers to optimize regional results and contribute to company success
  • Ensure that TC Energy has a positive and visible image in the communities within the Area and actively engages with key Stakeholders
  • As a Leader in Field Operations, you will be required to:_
  • Build a strong, competent, proactive, and engaged team
  • Be responsible for staff development and succession planning for your team
  • Provide team members with effective mentoring, feedback, and coaching with appropriate rewards and recognition
  • Continue to develop your leadership competencies while maintaining current knowledge of company business, strategy, goals, and objectives
  • Manage and coordinate emergency response with a requirement to be oncall and to respond to emergency situations
  • Travel to various field and office locations across the region to meet with team members and other field staff
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be required to:_
  • Work collaboratively to establish Canada Gas Operations strategy, goals, and business plan
  • Commit to the execution of the Canada Gas Operations business plan
  • Represent TC Energy and foster critical partnerships both internally and externally
  • Be a champion of change initiatives
  • Participate in CGO (Canada Gas Operations) initiatives and manage issues when required


 Minimum Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary education
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • An excellent record of accomplishing development and execution of plans
  • Demonstrated experience with conflict resolution and problemsolving tools and processes
  • Proven experience in effective resource allocation and utilization in the financial, people, and procurement areas
  • Leadership experience in the health, safety, and environment, change management, employee development, performance management, and team building areas


 Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and familiarity with TC Energy's business vision, strategies, practices, processes, and systems
  • Related experience preferably in a managerial or leadership setting
  • Knowledge of TC Energy's Leadership competencies and a commitment to career development
  • Successfully complete preemployment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (a record) for review
  • This position will involve travel and overnight stays away from home (estimated up to 50% of work schedule during peak work periods)
