Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing the used car purchasing facet of the Kenny U-Pull market by developing strong relationships with suppliers and constantly searching for new clients.

You will work closely with the call center and logistics team and strive to surpass purchasing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing B2B accounts within the assigned territory (40%);
  • Prospect and develop new accounts (60%);
  • Solicit clients and develop your own client base (dealers, garages, auction houses, etc.);
  • Build solid relationships within the automobile and recycling industry;
  • Analyze sales data and carry out other administrative duties associated with the sales function;
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (auction, car shows, etc) to cultivate customer relationships;
  • Negotiate purchasing terms;
  • Communicate effectively with other departments;
  • Occasional travel outside of assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry considered an asset;
  • At least 5 years of sales experience;
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development;
  • Field sales experience;
  • Experience closing sales in a fastmoving industry;
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs;
  • Ability to cover a 2 hour territory (100km) from home office;
  • Valid G driver's licence and good driving record.
