Senior engineers can jump into a codebase without too much mentorship and take ownership of a project from inception to production.

Responsibilities

  • Own the products and understand the requirements to ensure fast and accurate development of new or better features.
  • Work with the core engineering team to develop & maintain the Botpress Platform.
  • Be the platform expert, knowing all the ins and outs of Botpress as a whole, and guide customers to build great conversational AI experiences.
  • Write unit and endtoend tests for missioncritical features
  • Clean up technical debt while keeping a forefront view
  • Get in touch with the community and come up with new ideas to make the Botpress Studio and our other products a success
  • Build tools, write sample code, and contribute to product development to resolve user issues
  • Contribute to product documentation
  • Improve the UX and the design of the platform
Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software development or programming in a similar environment, including Typescript, , Node, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • A minimum of 5+ years of Front end programming experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French is an advantage)
  • A deep interest in AI Agents, voice and chatbased user experiences
  • Wellorganized, excellent work ethic, pays attention to detail, and selfstarting
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced startup and passionate about improving technical abilities
  • A strong passion for UX and software design
