Reporting to the Plant Manager, Lehigh Cement is currently looking for a Process Control Technician reporting to the Plant Control System Superintendent, located in Edmonton, Alberta.


What you'll Get to Do

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Engineering Technology diploma electrical preferred
  • General understanding of engineering principles and analysis
  • General understanding and aptitude in mathematics, physics and chemistry
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Aptitude for science and technology used in the troubleshooting, design and implementation of plant automation and process control
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for computer technology and proficiency with some, or all of:
  • Word, Excel and Visio
  • Unix (BSD)
  • C programming


Siemens PCS
  • VMware ESXi
- network hardware both wired and wireless
- ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems

  • Understanding of instrumentation, power distribution, motor control and field wiring
  • Understanding and aptitude for plant production processes
