Position Summary
CIMCO is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters with 3-4 years of experience for our facility in Burlington.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Using and maintaining welding machines, bevellers, and measuring equipment.
  • Assembling components so they are ready for installation.
  • Reading and interpreting project plans.
  • Performing MIG, TIG, stick and flux core welding depending on the project.
  • Finding and fixing faults in pipework.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance checks.

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes specific to spooling.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
