Receptionist
Our office, Purely Optometry, is looking for an optometric technician to join our growing team. Priority will be given to individuals with previous administrative experience.
What would you do?
- Welcome patients into the clinic and answer general questions
- Conduct pretesting and auxiliary testing on patients
- Collect exam fees
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments
- Keep reception area tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
Position Requirements:
- Available Monday
- Friday 9am 5pm
- Previous experience as Receptionist/Front Office Representative or one year at a similar role
- Experience with multitasking
- Professional and warm attitude
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- VICTORIA, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
