Summary:

The Labour Optimization team is responsible for improving workforce management initiatives across Corporate and The Source retail stores.

We are transforming the way our stores operate and have a long-term view on how to improve the retail experience.

We work with projects that introduce new data sources and better utilize the existing data we have.

This includes developing data models for labour planning, installing data generating devices in stores and deep-diving into performance data to optimize our labour budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to define project strategy, identify strategic opportunities and monitor success of new initiatives
  • Build relationships and engage key stakeholders to influence successful project rollouts
  • Monitor and control project delivery after launch, perform postmortem analysis and adjust strategy as required
  • Build reports to support workforce management initiatives and ongoing business operations

Critical Qualifications:

  • Highly organized in project management; ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent data analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Authentic, professional and excellent written and oral communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL / SAS / Teradata / MicroStrategy or other analytical tools
  • Innate ability to seek out and solve problems and transform data into actionable items
  • Knowledge of workforce management, including experience with tools such as Dayforce or Storeforce
