Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure material is processed as per customer requirements
  • Identification and handling of all outgoing inventory is done properly
  • Identify material defects and report information to Quality Rep. & Buyer
  • Ensure information produced on AS400 system is correct
  • Monitor all inventory levels for safe storage
  • Ensure all saw operations are done correctly and in a timely fashion
  • Operate and maintain forklift, side loaders and cranes
  • Assist order pickers & loaders as required
  • Follow all ISO & Health & Safety procedures

Education & Certifications:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent

Qualifications:

  • Computer skills (AS400 preferred)
  • People / Communication skills
  • Plant knowledge
  • Familiar with OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of equipment / product is an asset
  • Familiar with ISO and QS9000 quality standards
  • Ability to read and write
