The Liquidity & Investment Solutions Specialist (LSS) role based in the US will be a visible senior member of the North America Liquidity Solutions team, including extensive engagement with sales, banking on product solutions for key client relationships. The primary duty of this role and the team is to drive strategic sales & solutioning for the global complex liquidity & account solutions product suite, including international cash concentration, notional pooling structures, Virtual Account Management (VAM) and related client visibility & digital reporting channels. This role also entails evaluating client investment policy and creating an optimal yield generating portfolio for working capital and investable cash. Most of the clients supported in this role are NAM based companies with a either a regional or multi-national footprint and global structuring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Liquidity & Investment Solutions Specialist (LSS) are responsible for leveraging Liquidity and Investment offerings to develop solutions to meet customer objectives of achieving liquidity & funding efficiency across In-house network and optimal yield across its working & Investable cash staying within clients Investment policy.
  • Develop clients Bank account structure (Virtual / Physical / Hybrid) that meets their accounting and legal entity policy framework while unlocking account rationalization and operational efficiency benefits.
  • This role will have a wide scope of work involving commercialization and direct client solutioning, aiding the sales process, deal life cycle management, as well as ongoing internal stakeholder engagement across this product set
  • Proliferate new ideas / opportunities by developing relationships with broader coverage / distribution partners across firm.
  • Use Data intelligence to drive client solutioning for meaningful engagement with the goal to implement prescriptive analytics tool to drive mass client engagement.
  • Drive client engagement in emerging areas of innovation like Real Time and e-commerce space to evolve / adapt our offerings use case.
  • New emerging technologies that better enable our products, such as API's and collaboration with FinTech partners.
  • Actively engage customers, peers and product partners to provide thought leadership opportunities to drive internal/external transformation.

Job Description

The complex liquidity product suite is comprised of an array of solutions to help clients improve their visibility & control over globalliquidity, while optimizing their positions and creating efficiencies. These solutions include:

  • Client Advising on global account structuring strategies including Virtual Account Management (VAM)
  • Physical cash concentration solutions such as single entity vs Multi entity, cross-border, cross-currency, and multi-bank sweeps
  • Single entity / Multi Entity Notional Pooling structures
  • Just-in-time funding and integrated solutions to support Instant payment needs
  • Promote best in class Inter Company Loan management reporting and reconciliation process
  • Investment solutions ranging from Global Earning Credit Rate (ECR) / Citi Interest Optimization (CIO) / Time Deposits / Money Market Fund / Direct Securities / Yankee Sweep.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and digital integration services

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial services or related field (e.g. consulting)
  • Preference for extensive knowledge and experience in positioning complex liquidity products or virtual solutions, as well as POBO/ROBO and other in-house bank solutions
  • Corporate treasury or Cash management
  • Exceptionalpresentationand communication skills Strong business, financial and analytical acumen
  • Critical thinker who can digest complex topics and distill into simple themes
  • Sole-contributor who can create bespoke client pitch / analysis to drive commercialization
  • Bank regulatory framework (e.g. RLAP, SLR, GSIB...)
