Technical Sales Specialist
Member of the Commercial Team
Located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada


As our
Technical Sales Specialist, you will be accountable for the identification, generation, development, and qualification of leads for Neo-Pure system sales.

Once a lead is qualified, you will partner with our Commercial Team to carry out and close system sales deals
.

You will be responsible for identifying new leads by conducting research and by attending conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.

With a true hunter mindset, you will reach out and follow up on leads to grow the prospect list and strengthen the sales pipeline.

You will have a clear understanding of our products and be able to demonstrate how they work in in-person or virtual meetings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities. Coordinate actions to connect and engage with new leads.
  • Conduct prospecting and lead generation activities by acting as a thought leader, driving market awareness, and establishing relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Actively reach out to leads by networking, cold calling, meetings, or other means of generating interest from potential customers that successfully convert into system sales.
  • Create and present a strong value proposition through sales proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Qualify leads to prospects based on required qualifying criteria.
  • Consult with crossfunctional teams to build a strong business case and answer objections.
  • Collaborate with commercial team to support the sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Update records of lead & customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Assess market trends and competitor/industry activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent with a strong technical background.
  • 2 to 5 years of sales experience in the food, technical or industrial equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of sales achievements in a relevant market and leading complex, highvalue sales opportunities.
  • A sales "hunter" mindset, strongly motivated by desire to win new business.
  • Strong business acumen. Proven experience in sales or customer relations.
  • Strong technical acumen. Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly understand food safety technology.
  • Passion for sales. Comfortable interacting with new people and companies.
  • Must have a valid passport and driver's license to travel in the United States.
  • Able to travel to the United States and internationally (30% 50% of the time).

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Resultsoriented, driven personality.
  • Hardworking and committed to contacting new prospects and customers daily.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong selling and negotiating skills. Able to overcome customer objections.
  • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external).
  • Sound presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories around technical data and presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization.
  • Must have excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Desire and aptitude to learn technical product features.

Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year
