General Labourer

Authentic Stone is a leader in the installation and fabrication of quartz and granite. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Fabricator/Polisher.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes work orders as received.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and complete fabrication of stone products as received.
  • Polishes and Fabricates materials efficiently to complete daily tasks and meet production requirements.
  • Polish, grind, and miter stone granite and quartz by hand with manual tooling in a wet fabrication facility.
  • Verify the quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensions.
  • Ensures all shop equipment is maintained in good working order.
  • The ability to read a tape measure and transfer fractions to decimals efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry would be a very strong asset.
  • Ability to learn and retain information, multitask, and work under pressure in a teamoriented environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs +.
  • Ability to work with many types of machinery and equipment is considered an asset.
  • CNC Machine Proficiency is considered an asset.

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
