The Opportunity


KPMG's Office of the Partner supports our partnership through the lifecycle of their careers - including leadership identification, entry into partnership, development, financial planning and support, physical and mental health and wellness, succession, through to retirement needs.


Our team is seeking a highly motivated and engaged Summer Student to join our Toronto office to support the Manager, Office of the Partner, in the National Partner Admissions Process.


What you will do:

  • Support the Partner interview process
  • Support internal and external New Partner announcements
  • Assist with preparation of PowerPoint decks
  • Compile various types of Partner data, review for accuracy and completeness, and follow up with key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets in support of various project phases and deliverables
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, take meeting minutes and circulate to the team
  • Complete defined tasks and adhoc project requests as needed
  • Provide support to other areas of the Office of the Partner as needed

What you bring to this role:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant University Degree or Post-Secondary program (Business, Commerce or Human Resources preferred) Open to new graduates as well.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Selfstarter and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong Excel skills
