JOB PURPOSE:

Vacancy:
Full-time

OUTLINE OF DUTIES:

  • Work in compliance with all safety standards and Good Manufacturing Principles. Keep work area, equipment, and production floors clean, safe, and in compliance with all food safety requirements
  • Safely and effectively monitor and operate production equipment
  • Responsible to complete all paperwork while on shift, including but not limited to, weight check forms
  • Verification of swabbing and other paperwork required
  • Print product labels and scan into central inventory system for each pallet produced
  • Complete all required sanitation tasks
  • Regular material handling of up to 25kgs
  • Other related duties, as assigned by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work rotation 12hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license and other related licenses
  • Previous experience in food production will be considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work in a safe manner
