Job summary


This role will oversee and document the receiving of packages, parcels, and supplies, store items in the appropriate areas, and prepare orders for shipping.

This is a position that requires a highly organized personality.

You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods: check goods against invoice or packing list to ensure that all items are received and entered in ERP accurately then stocked and labeled with 100% accuracy
  • Processing all orders (picking, double checking, packing) with 100% accuracy
  • Prepare paperwork for outoftown shipments and communicate with dispatch to facilitate pickups
  • Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods.
  • Keeping an organized record of back orders for follow up
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace at all times
  • Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
  • Communicate any issues to the Parts Manager in a timely matter
  • Be a team player and assist coworkers whenever you can
  • Follow all TDS, and WHMIS guidelines
  • Operate and use all equipment such as forklift, pallet jack and other equipment in a safe matter
  • Other tasks & responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Time management and exceptional organizational skills a must
  • Ability to type efficiently in order to maintain accurate inventory tracking records.
  • Ability to meet shipping deadlines
  • Class 5 License with a clean driver's abstract
  • Able to work alone and or in teams/groups to solve problems and get work done
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime when required
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move items over 25 Kilograms
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
