ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will perform the following tasks:
Review documentation to ensure adherence to the required standards;
Conduct audits on internal business streams to ensure product conformance with quality requirements and business's established procedures;
Support customer QA audits as required;
Advise personnel within the company on matters concerning quality assurance, codes, standards, and programs;
Maintain quality assurance in accordance with established guidelines and standards;

Ensure timely and orderly completion of audits and reports as required by the business;
Respond to customer issues, inquiries and audit requirements with appropriate sense of urgency and business criticality;
Coordinate with others to ensure any actions emanating from the audits (both internal and external) are addressed and closed in a timely manner;
Notify management of quality/compliance trends and service failures;
Prepare quality nonconformance reports and assign personnel to address them;
Facilitate changes to operating procedures, policies, training materials, and other documents as required by the business;
Perform contract reviews in relation to product quality requirements;
Review material and equipment requisitions for adherence to quality standards and codes;
Review statements of work, complete estimate orders and submit them for review.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree or equivalent;
5+ years of experience (minimum 3 years quality assurance experience) working in a related capacity or an equivalent combination of education and related experience;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision;
Organizational skills, and crossgroup work experience;
Good MS office skills Excel, Word, Outlook;
Knowledge of ISO 9001, Military or Nuclear industry quality standards are considered an asset;
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset;
Bilingual French/English with proficient English written and spoken skills.
