Responsibilities include:

  • Develop construction details
  • Assist in preparing site plan approval drawings
  • Prepare construction documents for building permit and tender submissions
  • Prepare and revise site instruction documents and sketches
  • Coordinate and review design and engineering drawings
  • Review and process shop drawings and submittals
  • Provide support for technical drawing packages during various phases
  • Ensure projects are compliant with building codes and zoning by-laws
  • Ensure end-of-project documentation
  • Assist in ongoing company-wide research and developmentRequirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Architectural Technology Diploma program
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
  • Advanced AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexbile and adaptable in different working environments
  • Strong inter-personal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • On-site construction experience preferred
