The Opportunity


Nido de Montessori is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator who will work alongside the students and educators and ensure the daily operations of the school.

The Role

As the Administrative Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Nido's school culture, and what sets us apart from other early learning centers.
  • Foster warm and trusting relationships with families and community members.
  • Manage student and staff onboarding processes such as creating and sending letters and organize uniform fittings.
  • Host virtual tours with interested families
  • Support and communicate with educators, principal, and team in maintaining and updating school processes and procedures.
  • Provide administration duties in the office by establishing and maintaining employee, student, and business files and records, processing invoices, and receiving incoming mail and phone calls.
  • Manage and calculate expenses, budgets, and tuition, including managing benefits.
  • Set up and maintain office systems including ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors
  • Coordinate, support, and organize staff and community events

The Qualifications

The Administrative Coordinator has:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possesses good time management skills and has the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Highly resourceful teamplayer, with the ability to work independently.

  • Experience working with children and in an administrative role are an asset.
