KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leads/participates in the requirements gathering, analysis and design on smaller projects or functional areas. Delivers modern software solutions that meet the high availability, integrity, security, quality, and reliability requirements of the organization in an efficient and timely manner, in accordance with defined standards and procedures. Provides project and story estimates and work plans Modifies and enhances existing systems to meet revised or new business requirements. Creates unit tests and participates in code reviews to ensure quality and understanding of developed code. Develops and maintains documentation for application design, programming and/or training purposes. Provides technical support for in-house application issues as appropriate. Responsible for carrying out special projects as assigned. Employees are required to keep strictly confidential the affairs of anyone whose private information becomes available to them in the course of their duties. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The competencies for this position would typically be acquired through the completion of a post secondary program in computing/system development and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, decision making skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Expertise with the complete systems development life cycle Proficient in .Net architecture, C#, Angular, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, and Docker Experience in Microservice Architecture Experience with CI/CD an asset Knowledge of agile methodologies an asset Financial Industry experience an asset
