We are currently recruitingfor a Commodity Checker/Counter to join our facility, located in Vernon. BC. Theindividual will ensure the accuracy of container counts for the various UsedBeverage Container

(UBC) collection network.This position will report to the Manager

What will you do?

Performing daily bag audits ensuring accurate reporting using manual and electronic data entry, including the operation of Anker Anderson high speed counting machinery; Cleaning, calibrating and maintaining various Encorp Workstations; Assisting in the coordination and workflow at the facility; Conducting warehouse inventory; Maintaining a clean and safe work area; Supporting the safety, security and integrity of the facility operations; Sorting and bailing of commodities as required; Other duties as assigned.

What will you bring?

High school graduate or equivalent experience in a related role; Relevant skills in using technology and MS Office, particularly MS Word and Outlook; Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving work environment. Forklift license

Schedule:

8 hours day shift Monday to Friday

Ability to work overtime as required
