Portland Tractor is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Langley, BC .As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supervising accounting employees and ensuring the completion of all internal and external financial reporting for the organization.
As the Senior Accountant your key responsibilities will include:Preparation and analysis of monthly income statements and balance sheets for multiple entities
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers
Prepare account reconciliations and month-end
Oversee accounts receivable and credit management
Oversee accounts payable data entry and troubleshoot issues
Prepare provincial and state tax filings
Post-secondary education in accounting or a related filed
~ 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment
~ Superior Microsoft Office skills with advanced experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
~ Experience with SAGE 100 will be considered an asset
