Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement multiple community assistance programs.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with notforprofit organizations to expand outreach and support.
  • Create a database for assistance request tracking.
  • Meet and assist clients as required.
  • Manage communications between notforprofit organizations, clients, and Goodwill staff.
  • Actively support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Goodwill Industries Niagara
  • Conform to all Health and Safety regulations and procedures as laid out in the Employee Handbook
  • Perform other duties as they are required.
  • Attend networking events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in business, social services, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Well organized and able to manage different tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with community partners.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to create and edit various written materials and presentations.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
  • Ability to work with noise and dust.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to vehicle.

Pay:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
