As an Electronics Technician, you will support Production and Service departments.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Production responsibilities include:
- build and assemble systems and components, with a focus on electrical/electronics
- testing and troubleshooting
- follow safety practices; maintain tidy, safe and functional workspace
- maintain documentation related to work completed.

Service responsibilities include:
- testing and diagnosing problems with customer equipment
- performing servicing and repairs
- conduct testing to ensure proper performance
- document work performed.

Your qualifications:

Training & Experience:_

  • Completion of a program of study in electrical/electronic technologies
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
-
Skills Desired:_

  • Positive work attitude; willingness to learn
  • Handson electrical/electronics skills, knowledge, and experience
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and skills
  • Soldering proficiency (surface mount)
  • Skills in fibre optic termination is an asset
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, schematics and diagrams
  • Ability to test and diagnose problems and make repairs to resolve them
  • Strong problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use relevant tools and equipment

  • Time management and ability to manage and meet deadlines
