2. CURRENT OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for a Data Management Specialist for our office in Vancouver Island (Victoria).
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Possess experience with data management and ESdat EDMS software.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate professionally.
- Have the flexibility to relocate to Victoria or already reside there.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing laboratory data using Microsoft Excel.
- Reviewing field notes and ensuring data accuracy.
- Formatting data for technical reports.
- Supporting project teams with data management.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
This is a permanent full-time position with two weeks of paid vacation. The starting wage ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, based on experience.
