Halo Brewery is a small Toronto craft brewery focused on variety and experimentation.

We put a modern spin on beer by combining art & science, and don't believe in restricting our creativity by brewing to traditional styles.


If interested in joining the team, please submit a cover letter including what your favourite non-Halo beer is and why.


Responsibilities

  • Consistently communicate the Halo brand and have a full knowledge of our beer lineup
  • Promote a positive environment that focuses on customer experience at every interaction
  • Provide outstanding beverage service in a friendly atmosphere
  • Sell bottles and growlers through the Bottle Shop
  • Maintain a clean taproom
  • Serve at festivals
  • Provide additional help around the brewery when needed

Requirements:

  • High energy team player with great social skills
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about craft beer
  • Selfstarter and problem solver
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised and independently
  • Proactive
  • Team driven
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40kg (e.g., kegs)
  • SmartServe certified
  • Previous customer service, merchandising, hospitality, and/or sales experience is an asset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
