The SEO & Content Marketing Strategy Lead is a pivotal role within the Canadian Marketing team at Intuit's Consumer Group.

In this exciting role you will create the vision and lead the execution of a revolutionary multi-brand, multimedia, multi-platform performance content strategy, motivating customers to engage with the best TurboTax (and others to be added) has to offer.

You are as obsessed with customer insights as you are with engaging and high converting content, you find meaning in tackling important challenges with a particular passion for helping to power prosperity for Canadians.


You will drive the continued transformation of our blog and will work with multiple stakeholders to leverage content marketing initiatives and seed them strategically across our customer touchpoints.

You will directly oversee all aspects of SEO while integrating with our paid media social, customer activation, partnership, retail channels, and others as identified to influence and share SEO insights with a view to customer growth.

Your primary responsibilities include overseeing and execution of multi-platform storytelling (words + sight + sound), as well as technical SEO performance to better serve customer interests as well as new customer segments.

You have strong either strong interest in or experience overseeing the space between SEO and conversion.


While this role is big and exciting, you will not be alone— you will have strong partners working alongside you to coordinate and share the right content to the right channels.

Working alongside paid media, social media, customer services and other craft leads, you will develop a unified content strategy with an eye to building audiences and engagement across all platforms as well as to identify and create strategic relationships with content creators to curate interesting, insightful and inclusive stories designed to drive customers to purchase intent.

You will lead a team that rocks word-based and visual stories and you understand that expanding storytelling to include voice and video is the next wave of building engaged communities.


As the owner of the end to end SEO strategy, you have serious depth when it comes to all aspects of SEO and have leading edge ideas on how to stay ahead of changes in the landscape as well as a keen interest in innovating and testing never been done before approaches.

You will use a test and learn mindset to explore the drivers of community and engagement and constantly tweak content to drive conversion results.

You're driven by the pursuit of high quality measurable content experiences, executional excellence and you operate with speed and accuracy.

Collaboration and integration is in your DNA and people just love working with you internally and externally.

What you'll bring:

  • You know a great brand story when you see one and know how to make that content move seamlessly between different channels, from digital toexperiential to drive conversion.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years experience in content marketing/creation, ecommerce website management and SEO analytics.
  • Customer obsessed and keen to be on trend with a drive to create consumable content.

  • The ability to identify, source, and analyze content insights and SEO data from available sources, identify trends, connect the dots and draw conclusions to inform strategies and programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills to present ideaseffectively.
  • You know how to be a stakeholder, collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced matrixed environment.
