Responsibilities

  • Technical lead for the overall delivery of Application Maintenance Services (AMS) services based on Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Operational Lens: Drive stability
  • Lead, assist, and manage the AMS developers
  • Produce solutions for corrective and urgentpreventative issues
  • Learn the supported systems from both a technical & functional point of view
  • Act as a backup for the Operations Manager during their absences
  • Strategic Lens: Drive growth
  • Partner with client architects to envision future enhancements and product roadmaps
  • Investigate and educate clients on new D365 capabilities (i.e. AI/Co-Pilot)
  • Analyze, demonstrate and propose new enhancements, including creating Proofofconcepts, estimates, and workplans
  • Business Development: Create proposals for Adaptive and Perfective changes (i.e. enhancement work)
  • Partner with client stakeholders to ensure desired business outcomes
  • Secure role as Technical Expert and/or Relationship Manager with client
  • Learn and understand client's business services, processes, needs, and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  • Ensure all customer relationships are "referenceable."
  • Monitor progress against scheduled timeframes throughout the development and release cycles
  • Communicate AMS operational progress, escalating issues as appropriate with recommendations and solutions.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met as described in the Release Scope and services are within budget.
  • Manage technical team members as a mentor and performance coach.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services, businesses, and industry.
  • Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events including client and company sponsored functions.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid technical background with thorough understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM, Power Platform, SharePoint
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Handson Dynamics 365 experience as a senior developer/architect, including software development and web technologies
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven Technical and People leadership experience, preferable in an AMS capacity. This includes Architecture & Development experience in project implementations
  • Able to build and lead teams, make decisions, and achieve customer objectives
  • Clientfacing consulting experience, especially in the government sector
  • Strong skills in meeting facilitation and client communications
  • Project experience in Agile Scrum software development and Azure DevOps Services/Server
  • Familiarity with project tools such as: DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Detail oriented; able to create/manage detailed schedules, budgets, estimates, contracts, and timesheets
  • Proven ability to learn fast, identify solutions, and show leadership to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Some travel may be required

Additional desirable skills and experience include:

  • Previous experience as an architect, developer, or solutions designer
  • Experience with Government IT processes
