Duties:_

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
  • Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
  • Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries, as needed

Experience:_

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is a plus
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is beneficial
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills to ensure orders are prepared efficiently
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
