Our clinic is partnered with HealthPointe Medical Center which allows us to work side by side with specialist such as sport medicine physicians, physiatrists, and neurologists.

Working as a team gives our patients a comprehensive plan for recovery and management of their injury.

As such, this would offer an amazing opportunity for any student to network and build working relationships with a wide variety of medical professionals.


Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a physiotherapist, duties include:

  • Develop and monitor exercise programs for a variety of patients and injuries.
  • Maintain records of those exercise programs.
  • Provide exercises and education to small group exercise programs.
  • Small group focus is on chronic pain and physical activity.
  • Application and removal of modalities which include: heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, and muscle stimulation.
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Greet and direct clients to their treatment area
  • Maintain highlevel of cleanliness within the clinic and exercise area.
  • Launder of clinic towels and garments
  • Disinfect treatment beds and exercise equipment throughout the day.
  • Wipe down modality machines and tools

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Science or related fields.
  • CSEPT-CPT or other related certifications preferred.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR preferred
  • Commitment to working as a collaborative team member.
  • Excellent previous attendance record.

Salary:
$19.00-$20.00 per hour
